"Anything that is human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable.
When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary." - Fred Rogers
Therapy is a space to slow down, reflect, and grow. It’s an ongoing conversation designed to help you think differently, feel your feelings more fully, and experience yourself and your relationships in a new way.
While every therapy journey is unique, the process often follows a rhythm. It begins when you reach out and schedule your first session. We’ll get to know each other, talk about what brought you in, and set some initial goals together.
From there, we’ll meet regularly to work toward those goals. We’ll notice what’s shifting, name what’s hard, and celebrate your progress as it comes.
As your therapist, my goal is to eventually work myself out of a job. I want to walk alongside you until you feel equipped with the emotional and relational tools you need to move forward with confidence and freedom.
At Rooted Oak Family Therapy, I provide:
Individual therapy for adults and teens
Couples therapy for partners working through disconnection, conflict, or transition
Family therapy to support deeper understanding, communication, and connection
Therapy is offered in person in Oklahoma City and online across Oklahoma through secure telehealth sessions.
Individual therapy in a systemic approach considers the client's concerns within relationships, culture, and society to understand how these affect thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, promoting self-awareness and change.
Couple's therapy fosters a safe, supportive space for partners to strengthen their relationship. Address conflicts, communication, and deepen connection. Improve understanding, empathy, and create positive changes for a healthier, happier relationship.
Family therapy provides a safe space to improve relationships through open communication, addressing conflicts, and gaining understanding. Whether facing specific challenges or simply seeking to enhance connection, family therapy can help cultivate a healthier and more harmonious family dynamic.
